Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the InvestorsBot website, accounts, newsletters, filing summaries, company requests, waitlists, and related services that link to it. It does not govern third-party sites or services.

Information you provide directly. Depending on how you use InvestorsBot, this can include:

• your email address and optional name when you subscribe;
• the companies, filing-event types, delivery frequency, and active or paused status you choose;
• your email address if you join the Pro waitlist;
• company names, ticker symbols, your email address, and an optional reason when you request coverage; and
• feedback, questions, or other communications you send us.

Google sign-in information. If you sign in with Google, we receive account information authorized through that flow, such as your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile image. We do not receive your Google password.

Technical and usage information. We and the providers that operate the service may process IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, request dates and times, pages or features used, error and security logs, session identifiers, and similar operational data.

We use personal information to:

• create and maintain accounts and authenticated sessions;
• deliver newsletters and apply your company, event-type, and frequency preferences;
• process unsubscribe, pause, resume, and preference-change requests;
• manage the Pro waitlist and company-coverage requests;
• respond to support requests and feedback;
• operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve InvestorsBot;
• prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access; and
• comply with law and enforce our agreements.

InvestorsBot uses essential cookies or similar storage needed for sign-in, session security, and core site functionality. When you choose Google sign-in, Google may use its own cookies and process information under the Google Privacy Policy.

InvestorsBot does not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by law.

We may disclose information in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers: vendors that support hosting, databases, authentication, security, error monitoring, and email delivery, subject to appropriate restrictions.
• At your direction: when you request or authorize a connection or disclosure.
• Legal and safety reasons: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or valid government requests, or to protect rights, safety, and service integrity.
• Business transactions: in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
• Aggregated information: information that does not reasonably identify an individual.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Where a legal basis is required, we process personal information to perform our agreement with you, with your consent, for legitimate interests such as operating and securing the service, and to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and why it was collected.

An inactive newsletter record may be retained after you unsubscribe so we can honor the opt-out and avoid sending unwanted messages. Backup and security records may remain for a limited period before deletion or de-identification.

You can unsubscribe through the link in any newsletter, pause delivery or change preferences in Settings, sign out of your account, or adjust Google permissions in your Google account.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection; to withdraw consent; or to appeal a decision about a privacy request. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

To submit a privacy request, email support@investorsbot.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission, database, or security control is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

InvestorsBot and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

InvestorsBot is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service, our practices, or applicable law. We will post the revised policy and update the date above. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice when reasonably practical.
