UPS Names New Global Operations Chief as Gutmann Prepares to Retire

UPS said Kate Gutmann will leave her current executive roles on September 1, 2026, remain as a strategic adviser through March 31, 2027, and then retire; Wilfredo Ramos will succeed her as chief of International, Healthcare and Supply Chain Solutions. UPS is also adopting a global operating model, appointing Nando Cesarone as Chief Global Operations Officer and Matt Guffey as Chief U.S. Domestic Officer, while granting retention RSUs valued at $6.0 million to Cesarone and $3.0 million to Chief Digital and Technology Officer Bala Subramanian, vesting through September 1, 2029.
